She Will Be Loved

Beauty queen of only eighteen
She had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else

I drove for miles and miles

And wound up at your door
I've had you so many times but somehow
I want more

I don't mind spending everyday

Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved

I remember being utterly in love with this song. Where has it gone? Lost in the recorded files of radio station playlists? Hidden tracks on our mix tapes from years ago that we no longer pull out to give a listen to? Whenever I hear this song, it reminds me that there will always be somebody out there who will take you in even when they know they might wake up to nobody beside them. There will always be somebody out there who will give double effort to reel you in to safety. Don't give up on the feeling of being alive because there is somebody out there who has been waiting their whole life out on the side lines just to save you and call you their own

I agree. Even though it seems like that someone doesn't exist, they are there for you. I absolutely love this song and still listen to it almost everyday. Lol
