Teeny French Model in Vogue

There's a lot of controversy about this tiny tot. Only 10 years old and she's already been pronounced as the next best thing in the fashion industry. Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau, from the Ivory Coast of France, has been considered a fashion model since the ripe age of four but has only recently posed for Vogue Paris causing an uproar among prospectors in the fashion world. Having been dubbed "Beautiful, talented, inspiring etc'' by several young fashion bloggers, professional sayers are taking a much more serious stand to this issue. The Huffington Post wrote an article questioning whether Thylane was "too young to strike a pose". Allvoices.com described the situation in an article by stating, "A 10-year-old model's [Thylan's] low-cut dress, stiletto heels, heavy makeup and sultry gaze in a Vogue Paris fashion editorial has raised some eyebrow." Too harsh? Not harsh enough? What do you guys think?

In my opinion, her poses are way to adult, her clothes are much to flashy, and her eyebrows are raised in a way more suggestive way then any ten year old should be raising them. But she is a beauty, and her success is inspiring. I think because of this, people are trying to shove her into roles made for adult shoes to carry out. I mean, she has the legs, the brows, the long hair and the look and she's only ten years old. That's the age of my little sister! I mean in one hour we'll be leaving for her ballet concert where she'll be prancing about on stage with a bunch of other blondies wearing awkward leotards, tutu's and flappy ballet shoes. I think if Thylane's career was going to have a more appropriate edge she should be doing things that your average 10 year old should be doing - but then again back to school JC Penny's models aren't as successful as a Vogue model.
I guess the real question here is: Is the success worth it?

Her most controversial picture yet. Her parents were battered in opposition by the media after this was released.
I completely agree - this little munchkin was made to be a star. But at what cost?

I adore her!!! She is such a stunning little girl, absolutely gorgeous... I don't think people need to talk too much about the controvercial aspect of thing - as long as the little one loves doing it (and I mean what girl wouldn't?!) and it gives her an opportunity to earn good money for the future - why not? x

thats crazzyy that her rents would let her do that! i mean ya shes pretty, but seriously? topless for that one photo? she'll regret this when she has a daughter who looks up to her.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I have to agree that most of these photos really are inappropriate. She is a beautiful girl, but...I would never want my daughter (if I had one) made up and posing like this.

At such a young age, of course, I should add.

She is so beautiful, and a good model, but she shouldn't be doing photos like this at such a young age! Most of these pictures are okay, but the topless one is just ridiculous for a girl her age!

She is a pretty little girl.
I think that people, including her parents and Vogue are forgetting that- pretty, little girl.
Have her act and dress as one.

she's so gorgeous! and definitely a success, but i agree that some of the photos (mainly the topless one) aren't appropriate for her age.
